Reignite the creativity and passion behind your start-up 

The Founders Pit Stop is delivered by Allia Impact and Madam Makery.

It combines practical business support with creative practice, giving founders space to reflect, reconnect with their creativity and build relationships with people facing similar challenges.

Addressing the tendency to overlook the founder as the primary asset of a business, The Founders Pit Stop is built on three simple principles:

  • Stronger founders mean stronger businesses.
  • We can do more together, than we could do on our own.
  • Creativity is an operating mode, at the core of entrepreneurship.

Who this is for

Early-stage and established founders who need more than technical business advice: space to reflect, reconnect with their creativity and build relationships with people facing similar challenges.

Programme details

By bringing together strategy, reflection and creativity, the programme helps founders build resilience, strengthen decision-making and reconnect with the thinking that drives innovation.

 

Each session is designed so that business learning and creative practice reinforce each other, creating space for founders to think differently, learn from one another and leave with practical tools they can apply beyond the programme. Between the morning and afternoon sessions we share lunch with each other – breaking bread together is an important part of the programme and helps build connections across the group.

Requirements

Although you don’t need to meet all the criteria, we’re targeting the following in applicants:

  • 2+ years of experience with your start-up
  • Based in Hackney/East London
  • Feeling the weight of leadership
  • We prioritise founders facing structural barriers or lacking access to high-level support networks, aiming for a cohort that reflects our community’s diversity.
