CVC DIF Accelerator Challenge

Scale your impact venture with expert mentorship and up to £50,000 in funding

Now in its fourth year, our CVC DIF–Allia Accelerator Challenge is a six-month programme designed to help mission-led social enterprises and start-ups across the UK turn bold ideas into scalable impact.

Delivered in partnership with CVC DIF, the programme offers bespoke support to help you build traction, sharpen strategy, and accelerate measurable social or environmental impact.

Through mentoring, coaching, and curated connections, you’ll refine your go-to-market approach and commercial strategy, strengthen your impact story, test assumptions with real users, and prepare to scale – with a high-energy Pitch Day bringing participants together.

What you’ll gain

  • Structured six-month support – A focused programme to build confidence in your product, proposition, and growth plan – without the fluff
  • Expert mentoring – Bespoke support from the CVC DIF team to tackle the gaps that matter most, including financial planning, fundraising strategy, go-to-market, customer acquisition, operations, and hiring
  • Partnerships, pilots, and real-world feedback – Opportunities to connect with peers, mentors, and partners to run pilots, gather user feedback, and build relationships that unlock traction
  • Pitch Day and prize funding – a final Pitch Day to close the programme, with up to £50,000 in prize and grant funding awarded to top-performing ventures
  • We’ve greatly benefited from being part of the challenge, and winning this prize brings us one step closer to our goal of reducing the barriers to braille worldwide. The funding received is a huge boost on top of the support we have received from the DIF team.

  • GrandNanny has benefited immensely from being part of the DIF-Allia Accelerator. Winning this prize means we’re another step closer to our mission of seeing grandnannies at every school gate across the UK. We truly believe intergenerational childcare can help create better connected communities and increase age-empathy whilst supporting more older adults into rewarding work.
